Bathroom Hacks to Clean Chemical-Free

Cleaning a bathroom is never any fun. These 7 bathroom cleaning hacks are guaranteed to make your life much easier. Were covering everything from cleaning the tub to removing that nasty mildew. You will never clean the bathroom like you did before.
1) Tub Cleaner
We all dread having to get down and scrub the corners of the bathtub. Luckily for you, we are here with some tips and tricks. Soak a cotton ball in rubbing alcohol or your cleaning solution and place in the corner of the tub overnight. By morning the corners of your tub will be pearly white.
2) Tile Cleaner
If you are looking for an easy, all natural cleaning solution for the tile floors in the bathroom. Mix a quarter of baking soda and a gallon of warm water. Scrub with a sponge or mop. Then rinse clean. For tougher stains let the solution sit for 10-15 minutes before rinsing clean.
3) Beat Bathtub Ring
The terrible off colored ring around the bathtub is one of the most frustrating things to have to scrub clean, and keep clean. The mixture of dead skin, body grease, oils, and the soap scum that seems has sticky superpowers on any tub. Our best advice is instead of waiting for it to appear, be proactive. When you take a bath drop in a bit of baby oil so those materials make their way down the drain instead of latching onto the side of your tub.
4) DIY Shower Scum Cleaner
Lemons are one of the toughest natural cleaners on all materials. There as so many great uses for Lemons and Lemon Juices. It’s antibacterial, anti-fungal, and it’s antiviral properties along with its acids making it a great disinfectant. To battle the stubborn shower scum build up in the shower, slice up a lemon and dip it in a bowl of kosher salt. This adds an abrasive scrub to the already powerful lemon juice. Scrub the glass door and leave for a few minutes while the lemon begins to break down the scum properties. Rinse off with water and welcome your clean new shower.
5) Mildew Remover
If you have mold or mildew build-up in your shower or tub, you know how hard it can be to eliminate. Here’s an easy and inexpensive solution.
- Cotton Coils
- Rubber Gloves
- Scrub Brush
While wearing the rubber gloves, soak the coil in a basin with bleach. You might want to do this right in the shower to avoid drips. Then line the edges of the shower or tub with the coil. Allow the bleach to work on the stains overnight, then remove the coil, and rinse with water. If any stains remain, they should come right off with a scrub brush.
5) Stop Dirt in It’s Tracks
Not everyone thinks to clean the shower door tracks when trying to run through a quick clean in the bathroom. Luckily we have some great tips and tricks to offer. First spray the inside of the tracks with your favorite bathroom cleaner, and let it sit for a few minutes to loosen the dirt and mildew. Then wrap a rag or paper towel around the pointed end of a screwdriver and use it to scrub the inside of the tracks. Rinse with water and enjoy your freshly cleaned shower track.
6) Cleaning Grout
Is there anything more satisfying than nice, clean grout? A simple paste of three parts baking soda and one part water is all you need. Make a new batch each time you plan to attack the space between your tiles.
